invites 8-minute videos on the theme
Fostering Tolerance in Pakistan
Videos that explore efforts at bringing change to Pakistan with a focus on ideas, causes, campaigns, individuals and institutions that have been successful and those that have failed, and why.
The competition seeks to raise awareness and encourage activism on important social issues, and encourage the use of new media in Pakistan. Submissions for the Video Contest 2017 may deal with any of the following:

Women: The plight of women in Pakistan.

Labour: The working poor, women, domestic servants.

Minorities: Issues of Pakistan’s religious and ethnic minorities.

Environment: What are we doing to the environment and how to save it?
-
Peace: Why is Pakistan afflicted and what’s to be done to bring peace?
-
Human Rights: Declining state of human rights in Pakistan.
-
Equality: How to ensure equality among the citizens?
Guidelines:

Each video shall be approximately 8 minutes in duration.

Submitted videos shall be original and must not have been circulated earlier.

You can make your film through any medium, as professional video equipment is not a requirement.

Entries must be uploaded by Dropbox to contest@eacpe.org by 07th January, 2018.

Results will be announced by 31 January, 2018.

Any person may submit an entry.

Language may be Urdu, English, or a regional language.

The Judges:
The entries will be judged on content, creativity, imagery, story and technical quality by Nadeem Farooq Paracha, Maheen Zia and Khusro Mumtaz.
The Two Winning Entries Will:

Be awarded cash prizes of Rupees 200,000, and 100,000 (runner-up).

Be showcased on the EACPE website.

Be featured in the Karachi Literature Festival, 10 February, 2018.
