Born in a village in Sialkot, Pakistan; Faqeer Sein is a Petro-Physicist by profession. He has spent 34 years in the oil and gas industry. This includes tenures in the Middle East, Europe, North Africa and the Far East. He started writing Urdu Poetry in 2004. His poetry is mainly based on his observations of the world and the Muslim world in particular. A vehement opponent of all conspiracy theories, Faqeer Sein thinks that our predicament is entirely of our own doing. In his poetry, he touches upon topics such as corruption, extremism, violence, poverty, population and the environment.
