Getz Pharma Presents The EACPE Film Awards 2019

The competition seeks to raise awareness and encourage activism on important social issues, and encourage the use of new media in Pakistan.

Guidelines

Each video shall be up to 10 minutes in duration.
Submitted videos shall be original and must not have been circulated earlier.
You can make your film through any medium, as professional video equipment is not a requirement.
Entries must be uploaded by Dropbox to contest@eacpe.org by 15th February, 2020.
Any person* may submit an entry.
Please write to contest@eacpe.org to let us know you are planning to submit a video.
Language may be Urdu, English, or a regional language.
The winning entries will get featured at the Karachi Literature Festival 2020.

Ms. Sabiha Sumar is a highly accredited filmmaker and producer, best known for her independent documentaries and her first feature film Khamosh Pani, which released in 2003.
One of the most celebrated actors and directors of the Pakistani film industry, Mr. Sarmad Khoosat, will also be the jury for the Getz Pharma & EACPE Film Awards 2019.
Dr. Framji Minwalla, formerly the chairperson of IBA Social Sciences and Liberal Arts department, is one of the jury members. He has been serving for over thirty years in national and international universities.
Internationally celebrated filmmaker, Mr. Mo Naqvi is also one of the jury members this year. He is known for his documentaries which shed light on the socio-political conditions of Pakistan, and on the personal journey of self-discovery.
